Ready to evade the ice and snow? Pack your bags for a New Year’s wellness reboot at Montevalle Resort & Spa in Baja, Mexico. Just in time for 2026, the resort has partnered with Evolve Retreats to offer the Alchemy of Love Retreat and Full Moon Women’s Retreat.
From Feb. 12 to 15, couples can enhance their relationship during Alchemy of Love. Led by Sianna Sherman and Masood Ali Khan, this itinerary is designed to foster deep connection and intimacy through guided sessions, yoga and movement, storytelling, and evening gatherings. A yoga teacher for more than 25 years, Masood Ali Khan is also an accomplished musician and pioneer in the meditative art of bhakti handpan kirtan. Sherman, a storyteller, international yoga teacher, speaker and guide, is the founder of Rasa Yoga, Mythic Yoga Flow and the RITUAL 13-Moon Mystery School. This retreat will embrace yoga, workshops and spa services. Prices begin at $4,431 per couple.
During the Full Moon Women’s Retreat from April 1 to 4, Sherman and teacher Lynda Arnold leads women through a journey of yoga, breathwork, sharing circles, sound healing, ceremonies and workshops designed to help them reconnect with their innate desires and creative goals. Prices begin at $3,199. Accommodations, transfers, all meals and activities are included in both retreats.
The all-inclusive, adults-only Montevalle Resort & Spa was founded by Dr. Carlos Bautista as a wellness sanctuary. Features include a minimalist, Zen-like design in 14 private villas spread across a tranquil 25-acre property. The surroundings provide a setting of fragrant lavender fields, vineyards and olive trees. Located about 90 minutes south of San Diego, the resort includes healthy, gourmet fare at Liebre restaurant, with a farm-to-table menu created from flavorful, locally sourced organic ingredients.
